Jodie Moulding celebrates the opening of Changing Lives Together's new community store

Changing Lives Together's new community store is officially open!

After months of hard work, planning, and preparation, Changing Lives Together celebrated the opening of their brand new community store in Crewe.

Our Co-founder, Jodie Moulding, said, "It's a real privilege to be opening Changing Lives Together's new store in Crewe. Over the past year, my youngest son and I have volunteered with the team, and it's been a fantastic way to connect with the community and see the impact the charity has every day. This new space will give even more people access to affordable essentials, practical support, and a genuine sense of belonging, and I'm proud that The Moulding Foundation can play a part in helping make that happen."

David Grocott, CEO of Changing Lives Together said, "This isn't just another charity shop, we've created a vibrant, inclusive hub that offers real value, choice, and dignity to everyone in Crewe. It's also been designed to be a friendly and welcoming space where the community can come together to find company and meaningful friendships through our Warm Welcome Group plus the other community initiatives that will eventually use our building.

We're very grateful to the Moulding Foundation and Crewe Town Council for their support in making this happen. This kind of financial support means that we've been able to expand our reuse retail offer and community support services into Crewe. This means we will be able to help more people save money while saving food and furniture from going into landfill. It's a win for people, a win for the planet, and a powerful step forward in building a more inclusive, sustainable future for everyone in Crewe.

Our doors have been open for a couple of weeks while we ironed out any creases and we've already been made to feel incredibly welcome by the Crewe community. We're delighted to be here and very excited for the future."
