The Moulding Foundation's Ladies Lunch raises £80,000 for Time for Bed
The Moulding Foundation is proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our partners, suppliers, and guests, we have raised an incredible £80,000 to support Time for Bed — a charity dedicated to ensuring every child has a safe, comfortable place to sleep.
For many families, a bed is something taken for granted. But across the region, there are children who face bedtime without a proper mattress, warm bedding, or even a space to call their own. Time for Bed works to change that. By providing beds, bedding, and comfort items, the project restores dignity, stability, and a sense of security to children who need it most.
Transforming bedtime - one child at a time
Sleep is more than rest. It’s the foundation for learning, development, and emotional wellbeing. A child who sleeps well is more able to thrive at school, connect with peers, and feel safe in their surroundings.
The £80,000 raised will directly help hundreds of children access:
- A brand‑new bed
- A warm duvet and pillows
- Soft bedding sets
- Night‑time essentials that help create a sense of comfort and belonging
This funding will make an immediate and tangible difference to families experiencing financial hardship, domestic upheaval, or housing instability.
