“The children were able to overcome anxieties and try new challenges with support.”

In February 2o23, The Moulding Foundation donated just under  £11,000 to Happy Days Charity, a national children’s charity dedicated to providing holidays, days out, and theatre trips for disadvantaged young people with special needs.

The trips funded by the Foundation took place over Summer and included a day at the beach in Scarborough, an afternoon at the theatre, and a visit to Ghyll Head Outdoor Centre in Windermere.

“The show was amazing. Many of the children wouldn’t be able to attend shows like this in a theatre. They were captivated by the performance – so many smiles and laughs! It was lovely to see the book that the children had been working on being brought to life on stage.”

“The children were able to develop their independence skills away from home and overcome anxieties and try new challenges with support. For a number of pupils, this was their first time away from home. They were able to take part in abseiling, boating and other activities.”

To date, over 331,000 children have experienced the gifts of happiness and hope that these holidays and trips provide, and we’re incredibly proud to be a part of that.
